The White Bear is a Traditional Free House serving fine wines and 5 traditional 'Bears'.

In the 18th Century the Original York to Helmsley Road was the main thoroughfare and it was a toll road. Traveler's used The White Bear as a stopping point along the way and years later it is definitely worth a drive out.
